Send a Concierge campaign

This article assumes that you’ve already onboarded with Attentive Concierge™ and understand how Concierge works. If you haven’t yet, you may want to check out the following before proceeding:

Journeys are great for sending smart, timely, triggered messages that react to subscriber actions on your site, but they aren’t the best choice for sending one-time messages about special sales, promotions, or product drops. If you want to let all of your subscribers – or just a segment of VIP or high-value shoppers – know about an upcoming event or deal, campaigns are your best bet.

Best of all, when your subscribers reply to a campaign message, it’s automatically forwarded to your Concierge agent, who can answer questions and help give subscribers a great experience.

You should know

  • Your first Concierge campaign is on the house! To help you get the best results for your Concierge program, you can send your first Concierge campaign for free.
  • You can click the Concierge bell bell.png while composing a campaign message to see suggestions and inspiration for agent introductions and response prompts.

  • As you compose your campaign message, pay attention to the Optimize your message for Concierge section. You can use it to make sure that you’re including some of the most important parts of Concierge messages – introducing your agent persona and asking subscribers direct questions.

Create a Concierge campaign with a template

You can use a Concierge campaign template to get your campaign off the ground quickly, or just use the templates as inspiration.

  1. Go to Campaigns.
  2. Click + Create campaign.
  3. Click Select a message template, and then click Continue.
  4. Select the Concierge tab on the left side of the Campaign Templates window.
  5. Review the copy of each template. To see how each template looks in the campaign message editor, hover over it and click Preview.

    Once you find the best template for your campaign, hover over it and click Use Template.
  6. Enter a name for your campaign. (Subscribers won’t see this name.)
  7. Select at least one segment of subscribers to whom you want to send your campaign. You can also include additional segments or exclude segments. For more, check out What is segmentation?

  8. Review the campaign template’s copy and revise it to better suit your brand. Make sure to include a prompt that lets your subscribers know they can reply to the campaign message to talk to a Concierge agent.

  9. Click Save & continue.
  10. Review your campaign and make sure the messaging, segments, and design look good. Then, click Choose send time.
  11. Choose whether to send your campaign right now or schedule it for the future. For more, check out Send your campaign to subscribers.

    And that’s it! Once your campaign is launched, you can see its results on the Campaigns tab.

Create a custom Concierge campaign

  1. Go to Campaigns.
  2. Click + Create campaign.
  3. Click One-time SMS message, and then click Continue.
  4. Enter a name for your campaign. (Subscribers won’t see this name.)
  5. Select a segment to send your campaign to. You can also include additional segments or exclude segments.

  6. (Optional) Add Tags to your campaign to make finding and organizing it later easier.
  7. Click Save & continue.
  8. Design your campaign. Make sure to include a prompt that lets your subscribers know they can reply to the campaign message to talk to a Concierge agent.

  9. Click Save & continue.
  10. Review your campaign and make sure the messaging, segments, and design look good. Then, click Choose send time.
  11. Choose whether to send your campaign right now or schedule it for the future. For more, check out Send your campaign to subscribers.

    And that’s it! Once your campaign is launched, you can see its results on the Campaigns tab.
