The Analytics Dashboard provides a centralized view of your messaging performance across our full suite of products. With upgraded visualizations and intuitive filtering, you can easily spot key trends, assess program health, and optimize your messaging strategy.
Note: You can access the dashboard by clicking the Dashboard under the Analytics tab in your left-hand menu.
Key Features
The dashboard offers:
- Centralized Analytics: All of your campaign, journey, and signup performance data is in a single tab.
- Dynamic Filtering: Easily filter your data by date range, channel (SMS or Email), and message type to get the specific insights you need.
- Side-by-Side Comparisons: Compare top-line metrics to a previous period or the same period last year to understand performance over time.
- Helpful Visualizations: The dashboard includes charts and graphs to help you visualize your data more clearly.
Dashboard Data and Metrics
By default, all data displayed compares the most recent 30 days to the prior 30 days.
- Use the Date range dropdown menu to select from preset options like "last 7 days," "quarter to date," and more. You can also use the Start date and End date to define a custom date range.
- The Compare to previous dates option, enabled by default, shows the percentage change from the comparison period. You can choose to compare to the "Previous period" of the range you set or to the "Same time period last year."
Note: Total, Text, Email, and Journeys Revenue only include revenue from conversions that happened during the date range you’ve selected. Campaign Revenue works differently — it counts all revenue tied to that campaign, even from messages sent outside your selected date range, as long as the campaign started within that range.
Note: All data displayed is based on your company's time zone, which you can modify in your settings.
Hover over each data tile to read a description of the metric, including how it was calculated and what it represents.
Dashboard Sections
The Analytics Dashboard is organized into several sections to give you a comprehensive view of your program's performance.
Overview
This section is your entry point to the dashboard, providing an at-a-glance view of how your program is performing overall.
Note: You may notice different subscriber totals between the sign up units tab and the Analytics dashboard. Data displayed on the Analytics dashboard defaults to “last 30 days” up to yesterday. Data displayed on the sign up units tab includes today’s data.
| Total text subscribers | The total number of customers who are currently opted in to receive text messages. |
| Total email subscribers | The total number of customers who are currently opted in to receive email messages. |
| Text opt-ins | The number of text subscribers within the selected date range. |
| Email opt-ins | The number of email subscribers within the selected date range. |
| Text message sends | The total number of text messages sent within the selected date range. |
| Email message sends | The total number of email messages sent within the selected date range. |
| Total revenue |
The total revenue attributed to Attentive, based on the conversion date. This means that some messages may have been sent outside of the selected date range. Total revenue over time: A multi-line chart showing total revenue attributed to Attentive over the selected date range. Channel revenue breakdown: A donut chart showing the percentage of your total revenue attributed to each channel (Text and Email). Revenue by message type: A donut chart showing the percentage of revenue attributed to each message type (Campaigns, Journeys, and Other). Conversions: The total number of purchases that resulted from a message, based on your attribution window settings. Average order value: The average amount or revenue generated per conversion. |
| Billable Spend |
Text Billable Spend: Your total billable spend for text messages, including outgoing and received messages and carrier fees. Spend over time: A line chart showing your total billable spend over the selected date range. Spend breakdown by message type: A donut chart showing how your spend is distributed across different message types (e.g., MMS, SMS, Carrier Fees). Spend category breakdown: A donut chart showing the percentage of total spend by category, such as Campaigns, Journeys & Received, and Other. |
Note: Important note on Billable Spend: Billable spend numbers are preliminary SMS estimates and may differ from your invoice.
Subscriber Growth
This section shows how your subscriber list is growing over time and provides insights into where your subscribers are coming from.
| Marketable subscribers | A multi-line chart showing the total number of active text and email marketing subscribers. This breaks down the growth for each channel over time. |

Campaigns
This section provides a detailed view of your campaign performance.

This section helps you understand the performance of your automated journeys.

Note: The number of email unique opens that occurred in the selected date range, divided by the number of emails delivered in the selected date range, multiplied by 100. For some date ranges, the number of email opens may be larger than the number of emails delivered, leading to a percentage 100. |
