There are two ways to display your brand’s logo in subscriber inboxes:
- Mailbox provider profile pictures: Create profiles for your brand with mailbox providers that allow you to add profile pictures.
- BIMI: Brand Indicators for Message Indication (BIMI) is an email specification that allows you to display your logo in subscriber inboxes in supported mailbox providers, such as Apple, Google, and Yahoo!. This can help your emails stand out and increase opens and other engagement metrics.
The quickest way to show brand logos is to set up profiles with mailbox providers. BIMI, on the other hand, requires more time and effort to set up. Once it’s set up, however, BIMI allows you to configure a logo for your brand that automatically appears in subscriber inboxes for a growing number of mailbox providers.
Create profiles with mailbox providers
You can set up profiles with mailbox providers to display your logo in subscriber inboxes. For more information, see the directions for several popular mailbox providers linked below:
Set up BIMI
See the BIMI implementation guide for more information about setting up BIMI for your brand.
If you choose to set up BIMI, keep the following in mind:
- Your brand’s email must already be authenticated with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
- You should already have a registered trademark and a Verified Mark Certificate for the image/logo.
- BIMI isn’t currently supported by all mailbox providers.
