You can create dynamic segments of subscribers based on their mailbox provider (Google, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.). When combined with segmentation by engagement, this can help you address and resolve deliverability issues with particular mailbox providers.
Create a segment of subscribers by mailbox provider
Follow these steps to create a segment of subscribers who use a particular mailbox provider:
- Go to Segments.
- Click + Create segment.
- Next to Dynamic segment, click Create.
- From the condition dropdown, select A subscriber’s characteristics.
- From the characteristics dropdown, select Mailbox provider.
- From the mailbox provider dropdown, select at least one mailbox provider.
- Click Create.
Improve your sender reputation with segments of engaged subscribers by mailbox provider
You can combine your new mailbox provider segment with conditions that target engaged subscribers to help improve your sender reputation with a particular mailbox provider. For example, if you want to improve your sender reputation with Google, you can send campaigns to subscribers whose mailbox provider is Google and who’ve clicked a link in an email from you in the last 30 days.
