Shopify product data

In addition to Shopify shopper attributes noted in the table above, Shopify also allows store owners to group, label, and tag products and product variants. Attentive allows you to reference these data points when you’re building your segments, so you can target very specific shoppers and subscribers for maximum personalization. The table below denotes the Shopify product data available for segmentation:

Shopify Data

Attentive Display Name

Product Brand

The original vendor or brand of the product you’re selling (ex. Nike, Adidas, Nestle, PepsiCo)

Product Category

Product Collection
Note: In Shopify, you may see a state of "Unavailable on Attentive" under each collection. This means the collections are currently available for segmentation but won't be with upcoming functionality.

Shopify has the ability to group products into definable collections. With Shopify, collections can be created in two ways:

  • By specifically selecting a set of products,
  • By defining criteria and letting Shopify dynamically place the applicable products in the collection.

For example:

Top 5 most selling products over the last six months

Attentive updates the collection name and included products every 24 hours.

Product Name

This is the public name of your product that is visible to the consumer
