Shopify field names

The following table provides a mapping of Shopify Field Names to the Attentive Display Name.  Refer to this table when creating Shopify segments in the Attentive platform.

Status 

The status of the customer’s account with a shop. Default value: disabled. This is usually tied to membership and loyalty programs.

Tags

Customer tag

The tags that the shop owner has attached to the customer. A customer can have up to 250 tags. Each tag can have up to 255 characters.

Marketing opt in level

Marketing opt in level

The marketing subscription opt-in level the customer gave when they consented to receive email.

Single Opt In, Confirmed Opt In, Unknown, Not Set

Total spent

Lifetime spend

The total amount of money that the customer has spent across their order history. If you have physical retail locations offline sales may not be captured if your POS system does not send this data back to Shopify.

More than / equal to / less than  Number

Order count

Orders count

The number of orders associated with this customer record. If you have physical retail locations offline orders may not be captured if your POS system does not send this data back to Shopify.

More than / equal to / less than  Number

Accepts marketing updated time

The date and time when the customer consented or objected to receiving marketing material by email.

The date and time when the customer was created.

Shopify product data

In addition to Shopify shopper attributes noted in the table above, Shopify also allows store owners to group, label, and tag products and product variants. Attentive allows you to reference these data points when you’re building your segments, so you can target very specific shoppers and subscribers for maximum personalization. The table below denotes the Shopify product data available for segmentation:

Collection

Product Collection
Note: In Shopify, you may see a state of "Unavailable on Attentive" under each collection. This means the collections are currently available for segmentation but won't be with upcoming functionality.

Shopify has the ability to group products into definable collections. With Shopify, collections can be created in two ways: 

  • By specifically selecting a set of products,
    OR 
  • By defining criteria and letting Shopify dynamically place the applicable products in the collection.

For example:

Top 5 most selling products over the last six months

Attentive updates the collection name and included products every 24 hours.

Title

Product Name

This is the public name of your product that is visible to the consumer

Tag

Product Tag

A way to categorize your product inventory

Product Options

Specific Product Attribute: Product size, Product color, Product fabric, Product flavor, etc.

These are any features that distinguish different variants on a product. Shopify limits three product attributes per product

Product Properties

Brand, Category, Collection, Name, Tag, Color, Height, Length, Size, Style, and Price

Product attributes distinguish one variant from another, e.g., size, color, fabric, flavor, weight
