After you send an email campaign to your subscribers, the Campaigns page, and associated details pages, display unique metrics and information. You can filter this information by channel or select a specific email to view its performance metrics.
Select a channel
At the top of the Campaigns page, you can select which kinds of campaigns you want to view or manage:
- Click More filters.
The More filters window appears. - From the Channel type dropdown, select All channels or Email to view email campaigns or campaigns that include email messages.
Open rate and click rate
Two additional columns appear in the table on the Campaigns page for customers who send email with Attentive: Open Rate and Click Rate.
The Open Rate column shows the percentage of unique recipients who opened a message (out of the total number of messages delivered to recipients). This rate isn’t calculated for text messages.
The Click Rate column shows the percentage of unique recipients who clicked a link in a message (out of the total number of messages delivered to recipients).
Campaign performance and metrics
From the Campaigns page, click the three dots to the right of a delivered or sending campaign or campaign message, then select View performance. The performance page displays the following subscriber metrics to help you assess the success of the campaign or campaign message.
- Unique opens: Percentage of unique subscribers who opened the email. This is the same as the Open rate on the Campaigns landing page.
-
Unique clicks: Percentage of unique clicks per user associated with that email. This is the same as the Click rate on the Campaigns landing page.
- Unlike Unique clicks listed below Link Performance, these report unique clicks per user per email.
- Conversions: Percentage of subscribers who've converted to buyers in this campaign.
- Revenue: Profits associated with the campaign.
- Unsubscribed: Percentage of subscribers who have unsubscribed during this campaign.
24-hour engagement
The 24-hour engagement chart shows how many times recipients have engaged with your message over the past 24 hours. Engagement is represented by the number of total clicks. Hover over the graph to see the total number of clicks at a specific time.
The following metrics appear below the chart:
- Total opens: Percentage of subscribers who opened the email, followed by the number of times it was opened in total.
- Total clicks: Percentage of clicks associated with the links in your email, followed by the total number of times a subscriber clicked a link.
- Total bounced: Bounce rate associated with this campaign. This refers to emails that were unsuccessfully delivered (i.e., rejected by mailbox providers). The total number of rejected emails appears below the bounce rate.
Link performance metrics
If your email contains multiple links, you can assess individual URL performance metrics in the Link performance section. For each unique link, Attentive displays the following metrics:
-
Unique clicks: Number of times a unique subscriber clicked a unique link in the email.
- Unlike Unique clicks listed below Campaign metrics, these report the total number of unique clicks on the individual link.
-
Total clicks: Total number of times subscribers clicked on the associated link.
- Unlike Unique clicks, Total clicks reflect repeated clicks from individual subscribers.
If you have the same link in multiple parts of your email, Attentive consolidates the metrics from each location under one link report.
Deliverability rates
The Deliverability rates section shows important metrics about your email campaign, including the number and percentage of emails that were delivered, bounced, or were reported as spam for each major mailbox provider (e.g., Google, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.). Use the Filter by mailbox provider dropdown to view deliverability data for different providers.
See Email reporting metrics for more information about the metrics in this section.
