Select custom fonts in the email editor

In the email editor, you can select custom fonts that you’ve added to your Brand Kit.

Add a font to your Brand Kit

Follow these steps to add a custom font to your Brand Kit:

  1. Go to Brand Kit.
  2. In your Brand Kit, go to step 3, Fonts.
  3. There are three types of custom fonts you can add to your Brand Kit:
    • Google: Search for and select a Google Font. After you select a font, you can choose variants (if available) and set a fallback (default) web-safe font. When finished, click Import.

    • Typekit CSS address: If you have a Typekit CSS address (e.g., (https://use.typekit.net/xxxxxxx.css), enter it in the Typekit CSS Address field. When finished, click Import.
    • Upload: Click Upload custom font. Find and select the custom font you’d like to upload. You can upload .OTF, .TTF, and .WOFF files.

      Note: When uploading a custom font, you must acknowledge that you have the necessary licenses and rights to use that font.
  4. Click Save.

Custom fonts you’ve added to your Brand Kit are available for use in the email editor.

Note: Custom fonts aren’t available on all devices, and they aren’t guaranteed to be supported by mailbox providers. If you choose to use a custom font, your emails may appear differently to subscribers if their device or mailbox provider doesn’t support that font. Edit a Brand Kit font

After you upload a custom font, you can find it in the My Font Library tab of your Brand Kit.

Follow these steps to edit a font in your Brand Kit:

  1. Click the three dots for the font you want to edit.
  2. Click Edit.

  3. In the popup window, select and deselect variants as needed. You can also change the fallback (default) web-safe font.

  4. Click Update font.

Remove a Brand Kit font

Follow these steps to remove a font from your Brand Kit:

  1. Click the three dots for the font you want to edit.
  2. Click Remove.

The font is removed from your Brand Kit and can no longer be used in the email editor.
