Custom Device Previews

With the Custom Device Previewing tool (currently in beta), you can preview exactly how your email will appear across different devices, email clients, and specific subscriber scenarios, all within a single, unified view.

To use the custom device previewer:

  1. In the email editor, click Preview.
  2. Customize your view:
    • Device Type: Switch between Mobile and Desktop views to ensure responsive design.
    • Dark Mode: Toggle Dark Mode on to see how your colors and images adapt for subscribers using dark-themed email clients.
    • Subscriber Data: If your email uses dynamic content or personalization, you can:
      • Preview as a random subscriber: Quickly see how variables populate with live data.
      • Search for a specific subscriber: Enter an email address to see exactly what a specific person in your list will receive.
    • Event Trigger Data: For journey emails, select a specific event (e.g., "Add to Cart" or "Purchase") to see how product-specific dynamic blocks (like product names or images) will render.
  3. Click Additional Previews at the bottom of the left panel to see how your email will render in different inboxes

  • Customize which inboxes you’d like to preview
    • Use Quick Select settings to maintain your common selections
    • The image below shows which preview combinations are loaded by default and/or when you select “most common”

  • Apple Mail - iPhone 17 Pro Max - Light Mode (iOS26)
  • Apple Mail - iPhone 17 Pro Max - Dark Mode (iOS26)

Preview Allotment:

You receive 100 previews per month, resetting on the 1st of each month. Unused previews do not carry over, and additional previews cannot be purchased. If a preview fails due to an error, it will be automatically refunded so it doesn't count toward your monthly total.
