If you have product data stored in Attentive (via the Shopify integration or Product Catalog API) you can add associated products to any campaign or triggered email message.
Add products
Follow these steps to add products from your catalog to an email message:
- Create or edit a campaign or journey email message.
- While designing your email, drag and drop the PRODUCT CATALOG block into your email.
- In the Products from catalog block in your email, click Add products. The Add products popup window appears.
- In the popup window, check the box next to the products you want to add, then click Apply selection. The Products from Catalog page appears.
- On the Products from Catalog page, you can customize how you want your products to appear in your email. The preview on the right updates in real time with your customizations.
- What product(s) do you want to show: Click + Add product to add another product from your catalog. Drag the product tiles up or down to adjust their placement in the email. Click X beside a product to remove it.
- Layout: Change the orientation of the image and text associated with each product.
- Columns: Change the positioning of your products. Each column contains one product. You can have up to 4 columns.
- Product details: Check the box next to each piece of product information that you'd like to include in the email. To exclude a detail, uncheck it.
- Click Continue to save and return to the email editor.
Edit products
If you have one or more products in your email draft, you can edit the associated product row to make changes.
- At the top of the email editor, click Edit products.
- Select the product row that you want to edit. The Products from Catalog page opens for that row.
- Make changes as needed, then click Continue.
