Send a multiple message text campaign with Campaign Composer

This article shows you how to create and send a single-message text campaign with Campaign Composer. You can also send multiple-message text campaigns, single- and multiple-message email campaigns, and multi-channel campaigns.

Create and send a multiple-message text campaign

  1. Go to Campaigns and click + Create campaign.
  2. Choose Text.
  3. For your first message, complete the following:
    • Message name: Enter an internal name for the first message of your campaign.
    • Tags: Click Add tags and select an existing tag or type a name to create a new tag. You can add up to five per campaign message. Learn more about campaign message tags.
    • Audience: Click Edit and select one or more segments of subscribers to receive your campaign. Click Exclude to further refine the audience of your campaign. You can see an estimate of message recipients for your message above the Done button.

See Select and target audiences for campaigns for more.
    • When to send: The date and time to send your first campaign message. For time, you can choose between the time of your brand’s HQ (chosen in Settings), or based on the time zone of each subscriber.
    • Message: Design your text message. For more, see Design a campaign text message.
  4. To add a second message to your campaign, click + Add message, select Text, and then repeat step 3.
