Below are some frequently asked questions about managing your international messaging program from one account with Attentive.
How is the Attentive tag set up for multi-region accounts?
Multi-region accounts only need to use one Attentive tag. This tag is used for all of the regions managed by that account.
Can I manage multiple regions from the same account if I use different eCommerce platforms in each region?
No. Each account can only be integrated with one eCommerce platform. If you use different eCommerce platforms in different regions, you’ll need to manage those regions in separate accounts.
If I previously managed regions in separate accounts, can I choose to manage them from one account instead?
Yes. You can combine separate accounts and choose to manage all regions in a single account (or a combination of accounts). Keep in mind, however, that you won't be able to transfer all past performance data to the new account(s). And while subscribers can be migrated to the new account(s) with any user profile data, behavioral data—such as the products they’ve recently engaged with or purchased—will be lost. You’ll also need to create new sign-up units, segments, journeys, etc. in your new account(s).
When a new region is added to an existing account, can I copy sign-up units and journeys from one region to another?

Can I use Attentive’s AI tools in international messages?
Yes! You can use Attentive’s Copy Assistant tool to generate copy for your text messages. Copy Assistant offers support for any regions where you send messages in the local language.
