Store and manage images in your asset library

You can use the asset library to store and manage the images you use in your Attentive emails.

Notes:
  • We recommend using the latest version of your browser for the best experience.
  • Images added to text messages from your asset library are automatically compressed if they're over the maximum image file size.

View your asset library

View your asset library by going to Brand Kit and clicking the Asset library tab.

The ‘Asset library’ tab on the ‘Setup brand kit’ page in the Attentive
  platform.

Add images to your asset library

There are two ways to add images to your asset library:

  1. Drag and drop an image file from your device into the Asset library tab.
  2. Click Upload and select an image file on your device.

You can upload multiple files at once. If you upload a file with the same name as another file, a number is added to the name of the file you’re uploading so that it doesn’t overwrite other files.

You can delete, move, preview, or rename images in your asset library by clicking the three dots and choosing an action.

Image file requirements

You can upload GIF, JPG, PNG, and SVG files up to 5 MB.

Although images can be up to 5 MB, smaller images load more quickly. We recommend keeping images under 500 KB. For more information, see Troubleshoot images in your email.

There's no maximum storage amount.

Sort and search for files

You can sort files by clicking on the column headers in the Asset library tab. You can also search for files by using the search bar.

Organize files in folders

You can also organize files in folders:

  1. In the Asset library, click Create folder. The Create a folder window appears.
  2. Enter the Folder name.
  3. Click Create.

The folder now appears in your asset library.

Click on a folder to open it. You can create folders inside of folders. You can also delete, move, or rename folders by clicking the three dots and choosing an action.

Clicking on a folder in the asset library, then clicking the three dots for a subfolder and choosing the option to rename it.

  1. Create or edit an email message.
  2. Drag an IMAGE block into the email.
  3. Click Browse.
  4. In the Add an image window, find and select the image you want to add or upload a new one. If the image isn’t already in your asset library, you can upload a new image in this window. New images can be uploaded to a specific folder and are added to your asset library so you can use them again.
  5. Click Insert image.
