Gatsby

Gatsby is a social media management platform that can grow your Attentive email and SMS lists. It helps you convert your Instagram followers into email & SMS subscribers. You can also trigger journeys when customers post user-generated content, follow your brand, and more. By integrating Gatsby with Attentive, you can enhance your SMS and email marketing efforts by leveraging and incorporating social media data. This integration allows you to convert social media followers into subscribers, segment them based on their influence, and automate email & SMS replies to brand mentions on platforms like Instagram and TikTok.

Prerequisites

Before you begin setting up the integration, make sure you have the following:

• A Gatsby account. If you don’t have one, you can create an account on Gatsby’s website or install their Shopify app.
• An active subscription to any of Gatsby’s plans.

Set up the integration

To set up this integration, please ask your Attentive CSM to create a signup unit on the Marketing API and then follow the steps outlined in Integrate Gatsby + Attentive.

Use custom events in journeys

Once the integration is set up, you can create custom journeys in Attentive using Gatsby's social media insights. The following events can trigger journeys:

• Gatsby - Instagram Mention: Triggered when a subscriber tags or @mentions your brand in an Instagram Story, Feed, or Reel.
• Gatsby - TikTok Mention: Triggered when a subscriber includes your #hashtag in their TikTok post.

Create dynamic segments

You can also create dynamic segments in Attentive using custom attributes from Gatsby. These include:

You can create dynamic segments in Attentive based on follower size using the attributes above. For example, you could create a segment to target subscribers with more than 10,000 followers on Instagram. You could then send them messages with exclusive offers. You can also use segments to add branches to journeys to send different messages to different tiers of your Gatsby ambassador program.

Convert Instagram followers into subscribers

Gatsby allows Instagram followers to subscribe to your Attentive email and SMS lists directly through Instagram DMs. This feature makes it easy to grow your subscriber base through social media engagement. You can design Instagram campaigns, like giveaways, that encourage subscribers to sign up.
