Attentive has built three integrations with Salesforce to help you orchestrate your marketing, use your data for personalization, and deliver delightful customer experiences.
Depending on what clouds you use and your goals, Attentive can help you set up the integrations that meet your needs.
|Salesforce Commerce Cloud||
Our Salesforce Commerce Cloud integration syncs product, customer, and historical data from Salesforce Commerce Cloud to Attentive so that you can:
Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
Salesforce Marketing Cloud is an enterprise multi-channel marketing solution that allows you to send:
|Salesforce Service/Sales Cloud||
Attentive’s integration with Salesforce Service Cloud enables you to deliver seamless customer support via SMS across the customer cycle. Support teams can respond to questions from SMS subscribers via SMS--directly from the Salesforce service console. This integration also allows you to sync new contacts collected by Attentive’s sign-up units to Salesforce.
Syncing contacts from Attentive to Salesforce if you use both Salesforce Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud
If you currently use both Salesforce Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud and want to sync contacts from Attentive to Salesforce, we recommend the following setup steps:
- Set up the Service Cloud contact sync integration and customer support integration (if needed). Make sure that you meet the Product Requirements before setting up the integration.
- Set up the Journey Builder part of the Marketing Cloud integration. For the data sync feature, only enable the message data, not the contact sync*.
*Note that the Marketing Cloud contact sync isn't necessary because we can sync contacts in near real-time with the Service/Sales Cloud contact sync, and it would create duplicate records.
- If you haven't already, download and set up Marketing Cloud Connect.
This enables you to sync contacts (and all Salesforce objects) from SFSC directly with your SFMC instance.
After the integration is set up, the following diagram illustrates how both integrations work together:
