Add text messages to prebuilt email transactional journeys

By default, Attentive’s prebuilt transactional email journeys don’t include text messages. However, you can choose to add steps to the journey to send text messages by following the steps below.

If you add text messages to a transactional email journey, keep in mind that you’re responsible for ensuring that your transactional text messages don’t include marketing content. See What are transactional journeys? for more information.

Note: Some journeys can’t be turned on unless you’re a Shopify Plus merchant. Because Shopify limits which messages can be disabled, this prevents duplicate messages from being sent. You’ll need to download the HTML for the prebuilt journey and import them to Shopify. See Export HTML email templates for Shopify for more information.
