When you send text messages to subscribers in countries other than the U.S., you can choose to automatically append opt-out language to the end of each message you send. If a subscriber replies to a message from you with an opt-out term, they're unsubscribed from messages from your brand.
Opt-out messages are not automatically appended by default. If you want to automatically add opt-out language to messages you send, you’ll need to enable them on a per-region basis.
By default, the opt-out language you can add to messages sent to international toll-free subscribers is “Stop to cancel” in English. For regions that use other languages, “Stop to cancel” is translated into the region’s local language, such as “ARRET pour annuler” for French and “FERMATI per annullare" in Italian. You can optionally customize the opt-out language appended to messages.
In addition to opt-out instructions, some regions, like Canada, also require company contact information to be included in all messages. We recommend linking to your brand’s terms that include your contact information to lower the number of characters in the message.
When opt-out language is appended to your messages, each character is added to the existing character count. If the appended opt-out language increases the number of message segments, the cost of sending your message may increase. You can learn more about how characters are counted and billed here.
Regional opt-out language
The opt-out language that is appended to messages you send to subscribers outside of the U.S. should be in the same language as the rest of the message. See the table below for the opt-out language we recommend sending to subscribers in that region.

- Click Save in the bottom-right corner.
