How Identity AI works
Identity AI helps you recognize users by capturing and using first-party device and behavioral information from sign-ups and other user touchpoints on your site.
More specifically, when a user visits your site, Attentive may collect data points on your behalf such as user agent, IP address, IP-based location, carrier, browse time, content viewed, and more. If the user’s cookie later expires, Identity AI can use combinations of these data points to intelligently match previously unrecognized touchpoints with existing users with a high degree of accuracy.
Identity AI doesn’t require any additional setup. Because it relies on historical data that Attentive has already collected on your behalf, it’s effective as soon as it’s activated.

No. Identity AI is a lightweight addition to our existing identification solution and doesn’t affect page load speeds.
Can I use Identity AI alongside other automation or predictive analytics tools?

Unlike those tools, Identity AI leverages historical data from Attentive and only attempts to recognize site visitors who’ve opted in to your Attentive messaging program.
