The page for individual segments includes a Performance tab, providing insights into how that specific segment has performed across different campaigns. This allows you to analyze the effectiveness of your targeting strategies for individual segments over time.
At the top of the page for a given segment are two tabs:
- Overview: Contains overall segment details, such as segment criteria and subscriber count.
- Performance: Offers performance metrics for the selected segment across various campaigns.
On the Performance tab, you can:
- Select a Date Range: Choose a specific time frame in which to analyze segment performance. The default is the last 30 days, but you can select custom date ranges as needed.

Filter by Channel: If your account uses both SMS and email channels, you can filter performance metrics by:
- All Channels (default)
- Text

View Campaigns Including This Segment: A table lists all campaign messages that targeted this segment within the selected date range and channel. The metrics that appear depend on the channel selected and include:

An aggregate row labeled Segment Total shows cumulative performance metrics for the segment across all listed campaigns. You can sort columns to analyze data effectively.
To access a detailed report, use the View Report button, which opens the Campaign Performance by Segment report filtered for this specific segment. This report will reflect the same date range and channel settings you’ve selected on the Performance tab. See Segment reports for more information.
