Create a segment using a template

Segment templates offer pre-filled options for building segments, which you can use to target common groups of subscribers, such as: new subscribers, repeat buyers, and unengaged subscribers. 

Follow the instructions below use the segmentation templates:

  1. Click Segments in the left navigation bar.
  2. On the Segments screen, click + Create segment.
  3. Click Create next to Segment templates.
  4. Click one of the templates to see the pre-filled options to create a segment.

Template types

Select a template to prefill the activity options for your segment. Like custom-built segments, you can personalize all of the fields in the template. 

New Subscribers

Use this template to create a segment of subscribers who’ve signed up in the last 180 days:

Engaged Subscribers

Use this template to create a segment of subscribers who’ve clicked a shortlink at least once in the past 90 days:

Unengaged Subscribers

Use this template to create a segment of subscribers who haven’t clicked a shortlink at least once in the last 30 days:

Prospects

Use this template to create a segment of subscribers who haven’t made at least one purchase:

Repeat Buyers

Use this template to create a segment of subscribers who’ve made more than one purchase:
