The Attentive and Decile integration lets you onboard Decile audiences, including Decile’s latest AI-modeled segments and personas, directly into your Attentive account for use in your text message marketing campaigns. Decile enriches all of your data with hundreds of behavioral and demographic attributes, so your team can discover and onboard more personalized segments for SMS campaigns and avoid marketing waste.
With this integration, you can:
- Build dynamic segments in Attentive based on Decile’s audiences available as custom attributes in your Attentive account
- Trigger journeys and personalized messaging based on customers being assigned to key Decile segments and personas
Prerequisites
Ensure that you meet the following requirements in order to set up this integration:
- You must have an active account on Decile (Contact sales@decile.com or connect at http://decile.com.)
- Connect your Attentive account via Decile’s integration hub.
- Select which Decile audiences you want onboarded to Attentive from Decile’s Audience Onboarding page.
- Enable the auto-update feature to keep your dynamic segments in Attentive automatically synced.
Now, complete the following procedure to set up the integration for Decile and Attentive.
Set up the integration
- Navigate to the Setup & Integrations page in your Decile account.
- Find the Attentive tile in the Integrations hub, and click Get Started to connect your Attentive and Decile accounts.
- If you have more than one Attentive account that you want to connect, click Settings for the connected Attentive integration and click Connect Account.
Use Decile’s audiences as custom attributes to create segments for targeted messaging
After the integration is connected, you can create a dynamic segment in Attentive using Decile’s audiences, which appear as custom attributes in Attentive.
- In your Decile account, on the Audience Onboarding page, select an audience from the drop-down and choose Attentive for the target platform; then click Onboard.
Note: The auto-update feature is enabled by default. This automatically syncs your Decile audience to Attentive as new customers are assigned to that audience. - In your Attentive account, navigate to Segments and create a dynamic segment using the custom attribute that maps to the Decile audience name.
