Use the Attentive + Bikky integration to sync customer segments from Bikky to Attentive and ingest SMS and email activity from Attentive into Bikky. This helps restaurant teams gain a unified, real-time view of their customers to create targeted campaigns, track customer lifecycles, and drive sustainable growth.

Prerequisites

  • An active Bikky account
  • An active Attentive account

Set up the Bikky integration

  1. If you have multiple Attentive accounts, log in to Attentive and select the account you want to connect to Bikky.
  2. Log in to Bikky.
  3. Go to Settings > Integrations > Available.
  4. Select Attentive.
  5. Follow the instructions to authorize access to Attentive.
  6. (Optional) By default, Bikky doesn’t subscribe new users to Attentive. To subscribe email addresses to Attentive when syncing a Bikky segment (for addresses not already opted out):
    1. Ask your Attentive Customer Success Manager to generate an API Sign-up Unit titled Bikky and provide the Signup Source Id.
    2. Send the Signup Source Id to your Bikky Customer Success Manager.

Syncing segments to Attentive

Bikky segments map to custom attributes in Attentive using the naming convention Bikky Segment: [segment name]. If you choose to include location data, Bikky appends it (for example: Bikky Segment: [segment name] – [Location name]).

Ingesting SMS and email activity into Bikky

Bikky ingests the following Attentive activities to enhance customer profiles and reporting:

  • email.message_link_click
  • email.opened
  • email.sent
  • email.subscribed
  • email.unsubscribed
  • sms.message_link_click
  • sms.sent
  • sms.subscribed
  • sms.unsubscribed
  • sms_subscription

  • Targeted marketing campaigns: Create tailored text or email campaigns in Attentive for segments synced from Bikky (for example, promoting seasonal offers to high-frequency customers or re-engaging inactive users).
  • Lifecycle management: Send targeted outreach at specific stages of the customer journey, such as welcoming new customers or rewarding VIPs.
  • Cross-channel consistency: Combine Bikky insights with Attentive messages to deliver consistent cross-channel experiences.
