Use the Attentive + Black Crow AI integration to boost SMS subscription rates and increase revenue from welcome and abandonment journeys.
This integration gives you access to:
- Smart ID: Generate more revenue from abandonment journeys triggered by “Viewed a product,” “Added to cart,” and “Checkout started” events by recognizing more users who performed these actions.
- Predictive offer: Get more subscribers and more revenue from your welcome series (and other journeys) by using machine learning to predict when to show an additional welcome offer pop-up and to whom.
Prerequisites
Ensure that you meet the following requirements in order to set up this integration:
- You use Shopify to sell physical goods.
- You don’t use headless commerce.
- You make more than $5 million per year in eCommerce revenue.
Now, complete the following procedure to set up the integration for Black Crow AI and Attentive.
Set up the integration
- Book a demo at https://www.blackcrow.ai/.
- Install the Shopify app: https://apps.shopify.com/blackcrow.
- Provide the Black Crow AI team access to your Attentive account: https://www.blackcrow.ai/integrations/attentive-platform-access.
- If you also use Klaviyo, provide the Black Crow AI team access to your Klaviyo account: https://www.blackcrow.ai/integrations/klaviyo-platform-access.
Smart ID
After the integration is connected, the Black Crow AI team or Attentive’s White Glove team (whiteglove@attentivemobile.com) can create custom journeys in Attentive for you using custom events from Black Crow AI.
These journeys replicate the message content of your existing abandonment journeys but only deliver messages to incremental users who your existing journeys don’t already recognize and message. The following table lists the available custom events for these new journeys:

Predictive offer
After the integration is complete, specify your current Attentive welcome sign-up units (mobile and desktop) and welcome journeys to the Black Crow AI team. They can then duplicate these to create new Black Crow-specific sign-up units (mobile and desktop) and welcome journeys.
The newly created sign-up units display using Black Crow AI’s Machine Learning solution to capture additional users who are most likely to submit their information at some point in their purchase journey but haven’t yet signed up through your existing forms. These incremental new visitors enter the new journey to unlock additional incremental revenue.
