The StellarAlgo integration with Attentive allows you to seamlessly sync your targeted fan audiences from the StellarAlgo platform directly to Attentive. This enables you to send highly personalized and timely messages to your fans through their preferred communication channels.
For example, you can:
- Send a personalized SMS campaign to fans who purchased a ticket for a specific game.
- Notify fans via email about a special offer on merchandise from their favorite team.
- Update a fan's profile with custom attributes, such as their preferred seat location or membership tier, to better personalize future messaging.
Prerequisites
To set up this integration, you must have:
- An active StellarAlgo account.
- An active Attentive account.
Set up the Attentive <> StellarAlgo Integration
The setup process is quick and simple. You will create a custom app in Attentive and then share the API key with your StellarAlgo contact, who will complete the setup for you.
- Log in to your Attentive account.
- Navigate to the Marketplace tab and click Create App.
- Give your app a descriptive name (e.g., "StellarAlgo Integration").
- Under Permissions, enable Write access for Custom Attributes.
- Click Create App.
- Once the app is created, you will see a unique API Key. Copy this key.
- Share the API key with your StellarAlgo contact.
StellarAlgo will then use this API key to connect the platforms and complete the integration on their side.
Syncing Your Fan Audiences
Once the integration is connected, you can create and sync audiences from StellarAlgo to Attentive. You have two options for syncing your segments:
- Static: Send a one-time snapshot of your audience to Attentive.
- Dynamic: Automatically sync your audience as it grows or shrinks in StellarAlgo. When new fans meet your criteria, they'll be added to the segment in Attentive. When they no longer meet the criteria, they'll be removed.
StellarAlgo can match subscribers in Attentive using either their email or phone number.
Custom Attributes
This integration uses custom attributes to pass valuable information from StellarAlgo to a fan's profile in Attentive. This allows you to create highly targeted journeys and campaigns.
StellarAlgo offers two ways to create and update these custom attributes:
- Segment-specific attributes: StellarAlgo can create a new custom attribute for each segment (e.g., Segment 1: true).
- Single attribute: StellarAlgo can update a single custom attribute (e.g., StellarAlgo Segment) with the most recent segment value (e.g., StellarAlgo Segment: “VIP Member”).
