Grow both your email and SMS lists using Attentive’s sign-up units while keeping subscriber data in sync with Ometria for impactful cross-channel marketing. This integration sends subscriber information and opt-in status back to Ometria automatically.
You can view the data that is passed to Ometria, as well as the use cases for this integration.
To learn more, see The Perfect Pairing: Email and SMS.
What Data Is Sent to Ometria
When the integration is live, Attentive automatically shares the following data with Ometria:
Email address
Phone number
-
Subscriber status
Email opt-in status
SMS opt-in / opt-out status
Collection name
List / Segment IDs
Custom attributes (optional values you choose to sync)
You can optionally configure some of the data shared with Ometria. See Configure optional settings below for more information.
How SMS Opt-In/Out Status Works
Whenever a subscriber updates their SMS preferences in Attentive (opt-in or opt-out), that status update is sent back to Ometria automatically, including the date and time of the change.
Specifically:
-
📬 When a subscriber opts in for SMS:
-
We send to Ometria that they allow marketing SMS:
allow_marketing: true -
If the opt-in is for transactional messages (e.g., shipping updates), we send:
allow_transactional: true -
🚫 When a subscriber opts out of SMS:
allow_marketing: false allow_transactional: false
-
This enables Ometria to have accurate subscriber status and timestamps for messaging preferences.
