Simon Data connects to Attentive to allow you to send highly personalized SMS messages to your contacts, reliably and at scale. Relevant, personalized SMS messages get more engagement and better incentivize conversion.
With this integration, you can:
- Highly target audiences for SMS messaging using a combination of batch and real-time data
- Send personalized, triggered SMS message campaigns to your contacts to get more engagement and incentivize conversion
- Coordinate your SMS messages alongside your other marketing channels to optimize your cross-channel marketing campaigns within Simon Data
- Sync subscriber data to/from Attentive
Prerequisites
Ensure that you meet the following requirements in order to set up this integration:
- A Simon Data account
Now, complete the following procedure to set up the integration for Simon Data and Attentive.
Set up the integration
- Contact your Simon Data account manager to enable the Attentive integration.
- Log in to Simon and visit the Integrations page (Settings Integrations).
- Find Attentive in your list of available integrations.
- Click the Add and then Authorize buttons.
You're taken to Attentive to complete the connection steps. - Log in with your Attentive credentials.
- Authorize Simon Data’s access to your Attentive account.
Your Simon Data account is now connected to Attentive.
Use Simon Data to send personalized SMS messages through Attentive
After the integration is connected, you can create a Flow in Simon and send a personalized SMS message using the Attentive Send SMS to Contact channel action. The following table lists the available custom events for the journey:

Set up SFTP connections between Attentive and Simon Data
The integration between Attentive and Simon Data supports both inbound SFTP connections from Simon Data to Attentive (for audience creation) and outbound SFTP connections from Attentive to Simon Data (for sharing engagement data).

Set up Simon Signal
If you use Simon Signal, a JS script can be added to Attentive sign-up units to send email addresses and phone numbers to Simon Data.
