Update your virtual contact card and company display name

This article assumes that you’ve already onboarded with Attentive Concierge™ and understand how Concierge works. If you haven’t yet, you may want to check out the following before proceeding:

One of the best (and easiest!) ways to let your subscribers know that they can get help right away by replying to any message you send them is by adding your Concierge persona name to your virtual contact card, your company display name, and your contact display name. This way, each message you send subscribers looks like it came from a human, increasing the likelihood of a reply and beginning a conversation with a Concierge agent.

Add persona name to virtual contact card

When subscribers tap on a virtual contact card you send them, your contact information is saved as a new contact in their mobile device. Whenever you or your Concierge agent sends subscribers who saved your contact card a message, your name (instead of just your phone number) appears in their text message inbox.

To add your Concierge persona name to your virtual contact card:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. On the Company tab, scroll down to Virtual Contact Card and make sure that it’s enabled.

  3. For Contact display name, add your persona’s name + from before your company’s name.

    For example, if your persona’s name is Sarah and your company’s name is Offers by Text, your Contact display name should read:

  4. Click Save settings.

Add persona name to company display name

Whenever you or your Concierge agent sends a message to subscribers with Attentive, each message always begins with your company display name. By default, your company display name is the name of your company. If you add your persona’s name to your company display name, it makes each message you send feel more human and makes it more likely that subscribers will want to engage with your Concierge agent in conversation.

To add your Concierge persona name to your company display name:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. On the Company tab, scroll down to Company display name.
  3. Add your persona’s name + from before your company’s name.

    For example, if your persona’s name is Sarah and your company’s name is Offers by Text, your Company display name should read:
