Overview
This guide details the steps required to migrate from Attentive’s internally built Yotpo Loyalty integration to the new, official version built by Yotpo.
We recommend completing the new integration setup before disabling the old one to ensure continuous data flow and zero downtime for your automated messages.
Why Migrate?
The initial Loyalty integration built by Attentive and the new version built by Yotpo have the same core functionality upon launch. However, migrating ensures your brand is positioned for future enhancements and superior technical support.
The new integration offers the following benefits:

Migration Guide: How to Move to the New Integration
This process is designed to set up the new integration before disabling the old one, preventing any downtime in your data sync.
Step 1: Install the New Yotpo App
You will begin by installing the new Yotpo app within the Attentive platform.
- In your Yotpo Loyalty UI, navigate to the Integrations Center section.
- Select the Attentive tile.
- Click through the prompts to install the app on your Attentive account.
- Once you are redirected back to Yotpo, click Set up Attentive.
- After Set up Attentive is clicked, all loyalty member data will begin syncing to Attentive. This sync will only update matching profiles (i.e., only existing subscribers in Attentive that are also loyalty members in Yotpo will be updated).
Step 2: Recreate Journeys and Segments
The data from the new integration will populate new Journey tiles and custom attributes in Attentive. You must now recreate your automated messages using this new data.

Journeys:
- In Attentive, go to Journeys >> + Create journey >> Start from scratch.
- You will find a list of new Yotpo Loyalty journey tiles. Use these to build your automated messaging flows.

Segments:
- In Attentive, go to Segments >> + Create segment >> Dynamic segment.
- Under A subscriber’s characteristics, you will find a list of new Yotpo Loyalty attributes. Use these attributes to recreate any necessary loyalty-based segments.
Step 3: Disable the Legacy Integration
Once you have finished setting up and testing your new Journeys and Segments, you can disable the legacy integration by deleting the old webhook URL in Yotpo.
- Return to the Yotpo Loyalty UI and navigate to Settings >> General Settings.

Inside the Webhook URL field, delete the URL that was previously provided by Attentive. This URL should look something like this, ending with herokuapp.com/inbound:
- Example: https://guarded-oasis-21514-cffad459b4fe.herokuapp.com/inbound
- Once the URL is deleted, click Save.
The legacy integration is now disabled, and your loyalty-based messaging is fully running on the new unified integration.
Note on Old Journeys and Segments:
After the migration, the old Yotpo Journeys and Segments will not be automatically removed from the Attentive UI. Please contact your Attentive Client Strategy Manager (CSM) or Support to have these deprecated assets deleted.
